About The Position
The 19th Hole Server is responsible for providing efficient, friendly, and high-quality service to members and guests at the club’s 19th Hole outlet. This position operates in a quick-service environment where team members take orders at the service window, prepare beverages, deliver food when necessary, and maintain a clean and organized service area. This role also supports overall Food & Beverage operations by assisting the kitchen, bussing tables, and helping pool service staff when needed to ensure smooth operations throughout the club.
Requirements
- Previous food and beverage or hospitality experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails preferred.
- Must meet minimum age requirements for alcohol service.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry trays or supplies up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor service environments.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests and provide prompt, friendly service at the 19th Hole service window.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Prepare and serve beverages including beer, wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with club standards.
- Deliver food items to guests when necessary and ensure accuracy of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service window, beverage station, and surrounding dining areas.
- Clear tables, remove used dishes and glassware, and assist with bussing as needed.
- Restock beverages, glassware, condiments, and service supplies throughout the shift.
- Assist kitchen staff with food running, organization, and light support duties when needed.
- Support pool service operations during slower periods by assisting servers or bartenders when directed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while providing excellent service to members and guests.
- Assist with opening and closing duties including cleaning, stocking, and preparing the outlet for service.
