This specific role involves providing 1:1 nursing care in a patient's home for a 21-year-old with a Tracheostomy, Ventilator, Gastrostomy, who is Non-verbal, Non-ambulatory, and Quadriplegic. A family member will be available to assist with transfers and repositioning. Patient-specific training will be provided.
Requirements
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator required.
- NYS Nursing licensure required.
- Must be computer literate.
- Completion of onboarding required prior to training.
- Must have malpractice insurance.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 nursing care in a patient's home.
- Administer care to a 21-year-old patient with a Tracheostomy, Ventilator, Gastrostomy, who is Non-verbal, Non-ambulatory, and Quadriplegic.
- Complete nursing notes within 24 hours of the shift being completed.
