FlowCV’s official site says it offers more than 50 templates. Its free plan includes one editable resume, one cover letter, unlimited PDF downloads, and no watermark. The platform also offers AI writing features and a Job Application Tracker, though access to some features depends on the plan.

FlowCV is particularly useful if presentation is your main concern. It gives you more control over spacing, columns, fonts, colors, and section order than a basic document template, while keeping the editing process guided.

What FlowCV reviews say

FlowCV’s public Product Hunt review page displayed a 4.9 out of 5 rating from 18 reviews when checked on September 3, 2026. Reviewers repeatedly praised the interface, template customization, and the ability to create a professional-looking resume without a complicated workflow.

That rating is positive, but 18 ratings are a small, mostly positive sample. It should not be treated as proof that every template, feature, or export will work equally well for every job seeker.

FlowCV’s homepage also displays its own summary of Trustpilot, Google, and Product Hunt ratings. Those numbers are dated January 2026. Because platform ratings change, this review links to the source rather than preserving a stack of undated testimonial screenshots.

Resume and cover letter builder

FlowCV guides you through adding contact information, work experience, education, skills, and other sections. You can reorder sections and adjust the visual design while previewing the document.

The free plan includes one resume and one cover letter. FlowCV also says you can import an existing resume from a PDF or DOCX file, an image, or pasted text. The pricing FAQ currently states that the free plan includes three content imports.

Templates and customization

Visual flexibility still requires judgment. A highly designed or multi-column resume may look good to a person but be harder for some systems to interpret. Keep essential information as selectable text, use familiar section headings, and test the exported file before applying.

AI writing features

FlowCV advertises AI help for bullet points, skills, grammar, and resume content. Its public AI page also labels some matching and coaching features as coming soon, so do not assume every advertised idea is already available in the current product.

Job Application Tracker

FlowCV has a visual job tracker for saving job details, application materials, stages, tasks, and follow-ups. There is an important plan-detail conflict: FlowCV’s pricing page lists the Job Application Tracker under Pro, while its Job Application Tracker page says it is included in the basic plan.

Because both are official sources, confirm the current tracker entitlement inside your account before upgrading for that feature alone.

Is FlowCV free?

Yes. FlowCV’s Free plan requires no trial or credit card. It includes:

The key limit is document count. You can keep editing and downloading the first resume, but saving several resume versions at the same time requires Pro. If you downgrade, FlowCV says additional versions stay stored but become locked until you upgrade again.

Are FlowCV resumes ATS-friendly?

FlowCV says its resumes use text-based PDFs with embedded fonts and structures designed for applicant tracking systems. An applicant tracking system, or ATS, is software employers use to collect and organize applications.
