About The Position
PAM Health Wiregrass Ranch is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join its new rehabilitation hospital in Wiregrass Ranch. The role provides direct patient care for a diverse patient population, including chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. The PTA works under the direction of a Physical Therapist to plan and implement patient-specific treatment programs in accordance with Physical Therapy principles and PAM Health System practices. The role also contributes to further development of the services and requires flexibility to meet system needs across different facilities. Prior inpatient hospital experience is preferred, though candidates with a commitment to learn are welcome.
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification.

- One year of clinical experience is preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience, or a desire and commitment to learn.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
- Plan and implement treatment programs for individual patients according to Physical Therapy principles and PAM Health System practices.
- Participate in the further development of the services.
- Remain flexible to meet system needs across different facilities.
