About The Position
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures for ambulatory and hospital patients. Procedures are requested by a physician or licensed provider to diagnose disease and injury. The technologist works under a Radiologist's supervision and follows established protocols. The position is at Baylor Scott & White Round Rock Medical Center. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with call requirements. The posting offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. The facility is nicotine-free.
Requirements
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N), or certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board as a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures.
- Perform PET procedures.
- Perform theranostic procedures.
- Follow established protocols while working under a Radiologist's supervision.
