About The Position

Wisestaff is hiring a full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) for the Mother Baby Unit at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in San Antonio, Texas. The position pays $34.74 per hour and is a permanent government contract position, with a potential opportunity to transition to a GS position. The schedule is 36 hours per week, consisting of three 12-hour shifts. BAMC facility leadership determines schedules based on staffing and coverage needs. Shifts are often grouped on consecutive days when possible, but may be spaced or adjusted to cover staffing deficits, weekends, and holidays. Full availability is required, including rotation between day and night shifts every three months. Because the position requires government security clearance, candidates should expect approximately six to eight weeks after interview and approval to complete the clearance process and receive a start date.
