About The Position
The FRONT DESK CLERK for Island View Casino & Beach Resort Hotels is responsible for greeting and welcoming guests, checking guests in and out of assigned rooms, managing online and telephone bookings, verifying guests' payment methods during check-in, accurately uses proper telephone techniques and etiquette, and provides guest with information including hotel, casino and restaurants, including hours of operations, special events and promotions.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must have the ability to build rapport with guests, staff, and external partners to include a high level of customer focus and service
- Must have the ability to interact and communicate with guests and staff in an effective manner
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years’ experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role preferred
Responsibilities
- Greeting and welcoming guests
- Checking guests in and out of assigned rooms
