About The Position
NurseCore is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Ocala team to provide quality support and assistance to current clients and VA clients. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, punctual, reliable, empathetic, and enjoys working with people from all walks of life. The role provides one-to-one in-home patient care and assistance with daily living activities and mobility. Employees must maintain required certifications and specialized training and may perform additional duties based on a patient’s care plan or assigned area. The position requires a Florida CNA license, AHCA clearance, current CPR certification, recent TB/PPD or chest X-ray results, successful completion of a skills assessment, and a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Candidates must be able to lift 75 pounds at times.
Requirements
- Current CNA licensure with the State Board of Nursing in Florida.
- AHCA clearance.
- Current CPR card.
- Negative TB/PPD test or chest X-ray within the last 12 months.
- Successful completion of the skills assessment specific to the areas of experience.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds at times.
- Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
- Compassionate, dependable, punctual, reliable, and empathetic approach to patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and competent patient support that builds trust and confidence.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and meal support.
- Assist patients with mobility needs, including ambulation, turning, and repositioning.
- Maintain required certifications and specialized training.
- Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed based on the patient’s care plan or assigned area.
