About The Position
The College of Liberal Arts' Flight Education Department is seeking an Aircraft Dispatcher to facilitate the daily dispatch of aircraft and flight training devices for Auburn University's Flight School. The position coordinates aircraft scheduling, tracks maintenance activities, and processes invoicing for flight training operations to help ensure safe and efficient flight services.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Dispatch laboratory training flights according to the published daily schedule, coordinating with flight laboratory instructors and leadership.
- Assign resources needed to support flight training lessons.
- Ensure accurate aircraft status is displayed in the computer-based management system.
- Assist with student records management and other record-keeping and data collection tasks.
- Assist in tracking inventory of training materials and supplies.
- Assist in filling student orders for training materials.
