About The Position
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Zumba Kids After School Instructor to lead engaging and fun Zumba classes for children in grades PreK-5th. This position is responsible for teaching Zumba Kids classes on Fridays from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The program focuses on making fitness fun for young children through dance and music.
Requirements
- Experience teaching children, preferably in a fitness or dance setting.
- Knowledge of Zumba Kids curriculum or ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a fun and motivating atmosphere.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Must be available on Fridays from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM for classes.
Nice To Haves
- Zumba instructor certification.
- Experience working in an after-school program setting.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct Zumba Kids classes for children in grades PreK-5th.
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment.
- Engage children with age-appropriate Zumba routines and music.
- Manage class time effectively to cover all planned activities.
- Communicate with program coordinators regarding class schedules and any issues that may arise.
