About The Position

The YMCA of Orange County is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. They are actively seeking an energetic, passionate, and motivational individual to join their team as a part-time Zumba Instructor in Laguna Niguel. This role is an opportunity to inspire and empower members by delivering engaging, safe, and effective group exercise classes. This position will look to foster genuine connections, practice exceptional hospitality, and create a safe, positive, and enriching environment where every interaction is meaningful. The Zumba Instructor will help to promote healthy lifestyles and reflects the YMCA's commitment to community well-being.

Requirements

• Minimum Age: 21+ years old.
• Up to 2 years of experience in aerobic/anaerobic and strength conditioning.
• Related background in health and/or fitness.
• Current Zumba certification.
• First Aid and CPR certifications (training provided and paid for by the YMCA).

Nice To Haves

• Two- or four-year degree in health, exercise science, recreation, or physical activity-related field.
• Coursework in human anatomy, exercise physiology, and kinesiology.
