Zumba Gold Instructor
About The Position
The YMCA of Orange County is seeking a highly engaged, intentional, and service-oriented Zumba Gold Instructor for its Mission Viejo Family YMCA. This part-time role delivers engaging, safe, and effective group exercise classes while inspiring and empowering members. The instructor fosters genuine connections, practices exceptional hospitality, and helps create a safe, positive, and enriching environment. The role supports healthy lifestyles and the YMCA’s commitment to community well-being. The instructor is responsible for teaching a Tuesday class at 11:30 a.m. The position is based in Mission Viejo, California.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Up to 2 years of experience in aerobic/anaerobic and strength conditioning is required.
- Related background in health and/or fitness.
- Current Zumba Gold Certification.
- First Aid and CPR certifications are required; training is provided and paid for by the YMCA.
Nice To Haves
- Two- or four-year degree in health, exercise science, recreation, or a physical activity-related field.
- Coursework in human anatomy, exercise physiology, and kinesiology.
