About The Position

The JCC is a vibrant fitness community dedicated to helping members achieve their health and wellness goals through engaging, effective, and fun group fitness classes. We pride ourselves on fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for both members and staff. We are seeking an energetic Zumba Gold instructor to teach an established participant group. The ideal candidate is trained to teach Zumba Gold, passionate about fitness and dance, and ensures a safe and enjoyable workout experience for all skill levels.

Requirements

• Zumba Gold certification
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• 2+ years experience preferred
• Strong communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt classes to different fitness levels and abilities
• Successful candidates will be required to provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Reference Check/Vulnerable Sector Search (expense covered by JCCGV)

Nice To Haves

• Certification in other Zumba formats and/or Group Fitness Instruction is ideal

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging and safe Zumba Gold classes for diverse participants
• Demonstrate proper technique, form, and exercise modifications
• Create an inclusive and motivating environment that encourages member participation
• Keep up-to-date with Zumba training and continuing education
