About The Position

Crunch Fitness is seeking energetic, enthusiastic people passionate about health and fitness to join its team. The role offers an opportunity to combine work, fitness, and fun while inspiring members to reach their fitness goals. Crunch describes its gyms as welcoming, entertainment-focused fitness environments guided by a “No Judgments” philosophy. The facilities include cardio and strength-training equipment, a weight room, locker rooms with showers, tanning booths, a HydroMassage® bed, and a schedule of group fitness classes. The instructor reports to the Group Fitness Manager and Director General Manager. The position involves teaching safe and effective exercise classes, maintaining certifications, following club procedures, and providing professional service to members. Work is in person. The job description states that candidates must be a United Citizen.

Requirements

Maintain a valid CPR certification.
Hold a nationally accredited aerobic certification.
Have experience teaching exercise classes to clients of all levels.
Have strong customer service skills.
Have good verbal communication skills.
Must be a United Citizen.

Nice To Haves

AFAA, ACE, or NASM certification preferred.
Valid Zumba certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
Understand and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with the Crunch mission statement.
Facilitate member requests or forward them to a manager.
Maintain a professional disposition at all times.
Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
Attend monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings.
