About The Position

Crunch Fitness is seeking energetic, enthusiastic people who are passionate about health and fitness to join its team. The company describes its gyms as combining exercise and entertainment and providing modern cardio and strength-training equipment, a weight room, full-service locker rooms with showers, tanning booths, a HydroMassage® bed, and a schedule of signature fitness classes. The instructor reports to the Group Fitness Manager and Director General Manager. The position is performed in person. The posting states that the candidate must be a United Citizen. Requirements

Maintain valid CPR certification.
Hold a nationally accredited aerobic certification.
Experience teaching exercise classes to clients of all levels.
Strong customer service skills.
Good verbal communication skills.
Must be a United Citizen.

Nice To Haves

AFAA, ACE, or NASM certification preferred.
Valid Zumba certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
Understand and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with the Crunch mission statement.
Facilitate member requests or forward them to a manager.
Maintain a professional disposition at all times.
Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
Attend monthly or weekly department meetings and employee training meetings.
