About The Position
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Zumba After School Instructor to lead engaging Zumba classes for PreK-4th grade students. This role involves teaching Zumba classes typically in 60-minute blocks between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM on Mondays. The instructor will be responsible for creating a fun and safe environment for children to learn and enjoy Zumba.
Requirements
- Experience teaching Zumba or similar fitness classes.
- Ability to work with young children (PreK-4th grade).
- Knowledge of Zumba routines and modifications.
- Reliable transportation to Owings Mills, MD.
- Availability on Mondays between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
Nice To Haves
- Zumba instructor certification.
- Experience in after-school programs.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead and instruct Zumba classes for students in PreK-4th grade.
- Create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment.
- Manage class time effectively, typically in 60-minute blocks.
- Communicate with program coordinators regarding class schedules and student progress.
