About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Zumba Instructor to lead after-school classes for students in grades K-5. This role involves teaching Zumba routines in a fun and energetic environment, promoting physical activity and healthy habits among young students. The classes will be held at a site in West Hempstead, NY, from October to December, on Mondays and Tuesdays, from 3:45 PM to 4:40 PM.

Requirements

• Experience teaching Zumba or similar dance fitness programs.
• Ability to work with children in grades K-5.
• Knowledge of Zumba choreography and fitness principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Must be available on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:45 PM to 4:40 PM.
• Must be available from October to December.

Nice To Haves

• Zumba certification.
• Experience in an after-school program setting.
• First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct Zumba classes for K-5th grade students.
