About The Position

Alstar Group of Companies Ltd. is seeking an experienced Day-Shift Zoom Boom Operator for their SE Calgary location. This role involves weekday and weekend shifts and is not accessible by transit. Alstar Group has been providing quality construction services to the oil & gas industry since 1969, with projects throughout Western Canada. They are a leader in turn-key new construction, maintenance, and prefabrication.

Requirements

• Experience operating equipment in a fast-paced environment
• Experience operating Zoom Boom and Forklift
• 3-5 years of experience operating equipment
• Valid Zoom Boom operation certificate
• Energy Safety Canada Common Safety Orientation (CSO) ticket
• Proven safety attitude
• Excellent attendance history
• Excellent communication skills
• Good attitude
• Collaborative skills
• Ability to follow directions
• Attention to detail
• Ability to perform well under pressure
