About The Position

Sells manufactured homes to manufactured housing parks and communities by performing the following duties. This job requires you to be present in our office or on site. Travel will be required. Work from home candidates will not be considered. Salary will be based on experience and commissions are based on sales.

Requirements

  • Must be motivated and be able to effectively sell
  • Must be able to provide a high level of customer service
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks and follow through with requests for assistance
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Must live the Champion Operating Principles
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Previous sales experience in manufactured/modular housing desired
  • Previous business to business Sales Experience desired.

Responsibilities

  • Contacts parks and communities and arranges to provide them with homes.
  • Calls on regular or prospective customers to solicit orders.
  • Demonstrates products and points out salable features.
  • Answers questions concerning products such as price, credit terms, and durability.
  • Completes sales contracts or forms to record the required sales information.
  • Assists in the process of shipment/delivery of homes and collection of payment in a timely manner.
  • Promotes products at trade shows and conferences.
  • Performs periodic training to customers on standard and optional features of homes.
  • Effectively develops and distributes periodic marketing materials for email blast and mailer campaigns.
