Requirements

  • Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Previous sales experience in manufactured/modular housing desired.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be motivated and able to effectively lead.
  • Must be able to provide a high level of customer service.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks and follow through with requests for assistance.
  • Must have knowledge and interest in the building industry.
  • Must have strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Sells manufactured housing products to wholesalers or developers on a commission basis.
  • Prospects, qualifies, and closes new accounts, new Retailers, Builders, Developers, and communities.
  • Contacts retailers and arranges to provide them with products.
  • Calls on regular or prospective customers to solicit orders.
  • Demonstrates products with ability to feature benefit.
  • Answers questions concerning products such as price, credit terms, durability, and construction.
  • Completes sales contracts or forms to record required sales information.
  • Assists in the process of shipment/delivery of homes and collection of payment in a timely manner.
  • Promotes products at trade shows and conferences.
  • Qualifies prospective customers to get them approved by corporate credit.
