This role is responsible for organizing and maintaining the placement of vehicles within a designated zone or move area according to established standards. The Zone Administrator will utilize daily information from supervisors and lot operations dashboards to make informed decisions regarding vehicle movement and staging. A key aspect of this position involves continuous improvement efforts focused on safety and the efficient movement of vehicles in and out of their assigned zone. The administrator will ensure vehicles are moved safely to their proper destinations, eliminating redundant drop-off points and maximizing load efficiency. They will also confirm vehicle operability, arranging for service or tow trucks for inoperable vehicles. Additionally, the role involves labeling vehicles for sale and routing, communicating inventory status and priorities with crew leaders and managers, and upholding company values and policies. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, with the administrator expected to model and enforce all safety and health procedures. This position may require overtime as business needs dictate.
