About The Position

Anakeesta is seeking Zipline Guides to lead guests through its Dueling Adventure Zipline and provide an exciting, safe experience. Guides follow safety procedures, deliver exceptional customer service, and contribute to a motivating and enjoyable team environment. Anakeesta provides training in safety, inspections, guest facilitation, and current safety standards; prior zipline experience is not required. This is a physically demanding outdoor role involving work in all weather conditions and at heights up to 100 feet. Guides must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

No prior zipline experience is required; Anakeesta provides training.
Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions.
Be able to project your voice loudly to provide instructions to staff and guests.
Be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Be able to lift 50 pounds and push, pull, grasp, lift, kneel, stoop, climb, balance, crouch, crawl, and stand for long periods.
Be able to pull another individual up to 300 feet on a zipline.
Be able to work at heights up to 100 feet.
Weigh between 70 and 270 pounds to use the zipline harness.
Have the manual dexterity needed to secure harnesses.
Be able to stand and/or walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

Inspect the zipline course and personal protective equipment daily, including cables, platforms, harnesses, helmets, and gear.
Ensure zipline areas are unobstructed, safe, and clean, and immediately report issues and findings to the Adventure Manager.
Fit guests with proper personal protective equipment according to Anakeesta safety guidelines.
Give engaging and informative safety presentations before each trip.
Safely and efficiently guide groups of 11 or more guests through the ziplines.
Manage tour timing to meet operational time requirements.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
