About The Position

Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is seeking to hire a Zero Waste Sorter for the State Farm Arena. As the Zero-Waste Squad Sorter, you will be responsible for collecting, sorting, and disposing of waste generated in the arena, ensuring its status as a zero-waste venue. We are looking for individuals who align with the arena's zero-waste vision.

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment (up to 200 lbs.)
• Hand-sort waste
• Ability to work a non-standard schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Punctual and reliable communicator.
• Positive attitude and consistent motivation to work.
• Sorters must keep contamination rates low.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual (English and Spanish) encouraged

Responsibilities

• Hand-sort waste
• Separate items into their various streams: landfill, compostable (food/drink, food packaging, cutlery, etc.), bottles and cans, cardboard, mixed paper, glass, and so on.
• Open every item within every trash bag before separating waste items into the various streams.
• Complete a mandatory checklist before team members leave each shift.
• Take direction from Hawks, Pritchard, and Levy employees
• Work well with all departments
