Youtube Manager

Acquisition.comLas Vegas, NV
$80,000 - $95,000Onsite

About The Position

The YouTube Manager for Acquisition.com is a strategic operator across all Acquisition brands — Alex, Leila, and Sharran — serving as the connective tissue between their business priorities and how they're translated into long-form videos. This role is not just about managing a YouTube channel, but about building the #1 educational platform online for entrepreneurs and setting a high bar for content. The manager will have meaningful input on ideas, angles, series concepts, and formats, informed by performance data and a deep understanding of audience response. They will ensure everything produced performs at its ceiling, understanding the importance of packaging mechanics, upload operations, post-production handoffs, and YouTube analytics. The role is accountable for business outcomes, including subscriber growth, qualified traffic and leads driven to ACQ Media properties, and YouTube's revenue contribution. The position is AI-forward, expecting the use of AI agents and automation for analytics, reporting, and optimization. Collaboration will be with the Director of Post Production, the Design department, and Creative Producers. The role reports directly to the Director of Post Production and requires the candidate to be based in Las Vegas, NV, or willing to relocate.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in YouTube channel management, growth, or optimization — ideally for a high-volume channel
  • Deep understanding of YouTube's packaging ecosystem: thumbnails, titles, CTR mechanics, retention patterns, and algorithm behavior
  • Strong analytical fundamentals — comfortable working with data and drawing decisions from it
  • Demonstrated experience with A/B testing frameworks for YouTube content
  • Familiarity with AI tools for analytics, reporting, or workflow automation — or a demonstrated drive to build with them
  • Proficiency with project management tools (ClickUp, Asana, or equivalent)
  • Proficiency with G-Suite
  • Strong written communication — you'll be writing titles, descriptions, and internal reports regularly
  • Ability to operate fully onsite in Las Vegas, NV

Responsibilities

  • Own the creative direction of YouTube packaging (titles and thumbnails) across all ACQ brands (Alex, Leila and Sharran)
  • Work closely with Creative Producers and social team to finalize the packaging creative direction
  • Work closely with the Design team to ensure the brief translates accurately into the final thumbnail
  • Own the full YouTube scheduling process end-to-end — including tags, chapters, and end screens — across all ACQ brands
  • Conduct final QC checks before every upload - confirming packaging alignment, metadata accuracy, and technical spec compliance
  • Develop and run a consistent A/B testing framework for thumbnails and titles across new and catalogue videos
  • Maintain a forward-looking upload calendar, coordinating with thumbnail designers, editors and post-production to ensure on-time delivery without last-minute scrambles
  • Ensure packaging decisions are rooted in data, not preference - every choice should be defensible against performance benchmarks
  • Own YouTube analytics across all ACQ Media channels (Alex, Leila and Sharran) — views, impressions, CTR, retention, subscriber velocity, and revenue metrics
  • Build and maintain AI agent-powered workflows for data compilation, anomaly detection, and performance reporting
  • Present weekly performance insights to Media Leadership, including Media and Marketing Directors, Post and Design Directors, and Creative Producers
  • Translate analytics into actionable creative, writing, and production insights for the content team to consider - not just observations
  • Benchmark channel performance against competitors and category trends to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Systematically audit and re-optimize videos 1+ years old - refreshing thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and metadata to drive renewed discoverability
  • Build a prioritization framework for catalogue work based on impression potential, existing traction, and strategic alignment
  • Track performance lifts from catalogue optimization and report on compounding revenue and performance impact over time
  • Treat the back catalogue as a living asset, not an archive
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with ACQ Media's YouTube Partner Manager
  • Stay ahead of policy changes, monetization updates, and algorithm shifts communicated through the partner relationship
  • Advocate for channel features, beta access, and platform support on behalf of ACQ Media
  • Communicate relevant platform updates to internal stakeholders clearly and promptly
  • Monitor YouTube's evolving feature set - including new formats, monetization tools, community features, and creator studio capabilities
  • Evaluate new features against ACQ Media's content strategy and present recommendations to media leadership with a clear test-and-measure approach
  • Lead rollout and tracking of approved feature experiments
  • Build a feedback loop to assess whether new features are worth embedding into standard operating procedure
