About The Position
The Wilkinson Firm is seeking a YouTube Channel Manager to build and operate their YouTube presence. This role is crucial for leveraging YouTube as a search engine and a key asset for workforce strategy firms. The manager will be responsible for the entire YouTube operation, from content strategy and creation to analytics and monetization. This is a performance-based contract role with a clear growth path and potential for significant revenue sharing and equity.
Requirements
- 2-7 years managing a YouTube channel (yours or someone else's)
- Demonstrated channel growth under your management
- Thumbnail design fluency (Photoshop, Canva, Figma)
- YouTube SEO knowledge (tags, descriptions, watch-time optimization)
- Analytics fluency (retention curves, CTR, audience insights)
- Comfortable with editor coordination

- Channel growth experience in B2B services, professional content, education, or similar fields
Responsibilities
- Channel strategy and content roadmap for The Wilkinson Firm's YouTube presence
- Thumbnail design and A/B testing
- Title and description SEO optimization
- Coordinate with Podcast Producer and Clipper on long-form vs short-form distribution
- Manage posting cadence (target 2 long-form + 5 Shorts per week)
- Analytics tracking, retention curve diagnosis
- Comment management and community engagement
- AdSense optimization once monetization unlocks
- Sponsorship pipeline development
