Youth Support Worker - $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
About The Position

The Youth Support Worker provides direct care, supervision, and support to adolescents ages 14–21 in a therapeutic residential setting. This role helps create a safe, structured, and supportive environment where youth can develop skills, build confidence, and work toward their individual goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in a group setting; or
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a non-social work or psychology field with six months of I/DD group-setting experience; or
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Must successfully complete: Physical screening, Drug screening, Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI Clearance, Child Abuse History Clearance.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support for up to five residents.
- Maintain a safe, supervised, and structured residential environment.
- Build positive and meaningful relationships with residents.
- Support youth through daily challenges with patience and understanding.
- Assist with meal preparation and daily living activities.
- Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community outings.
- Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Support positive behavior management strategies.
- Maintain accurate resident records, progress notes, and incident reports.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.
- Collaborate with team members to provide consistent therapeutic care.
