About The Position

Kamaʻāina Kids is seeking a compassionate and dependable 1:1 Youth Support Leader to provide individualized support to a child participating in an After School Program in Aiea. The role helps the child engage in activities, build friendships, develop confidence, and enjoy the program’s enrichment opportunities. This is a part-time position scheduled for weekday afternoons.

Requirements

• Compassion, patience, reliability, and a genuine desire to help children succeed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children with autism, ADHD, developmental differences, or other support needs.
• Experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or ABA team member.
• Experience in special education, inclusion, childcare, education, recreation, camps, or youth programs.
• Volunteer experience with children who require additional support.
• Experience supporting a family member or loved one with autism or other developmental differences.
• Studies in psychology, education, social work, speech therapy, occupational therapy, behavioral health, or a related field.

• Collaborate with program staff and families to support the child's success.
