About The Position
In search of a part-time youth sports referee. This role requires an individual who is at least 16 years of age and has prior experience working with children ages 3-5. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of various sports and the ability to teach them on a basic level, while also being able to maintain the interests of young children through quick thinking and efficient transitions. High energy and initiative are essential for this position.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Prior experience working with children ages 3 - 5
- Knowledge of various sports and how to teach each on a very basic level
- Ability to maintain the interests of young children, by thinking ahead and moving quickly during transitions
- High-energy and initiative is a MUST
Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate records of various sports programs
- Ability to come up with sports-specific activities and drills
- Ability to work weekends & evenings
