About The Position
In search of a part-time youth sports referee to work with children ages 3-5. This role requires knowledge of various sports and the ability to teach them on a basic level, while maintaining the interests of young children through quick thinking and transitions. High energy and initiative are a must.
Requirements
- At least 16 years of age
- Prior experience working with children ages 3 - 5
- Knowledge of various sports and how to teach each on a very basic level
- Ability to maintain the interests of young children, by thinking ahead and moving quickly during transitions
- High-energy and initiative is a MUST
Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate records of various sports programs
- Ability to come up with sports-specific activities and drills
- Ability to work weekends & evenings
