Requirements

A knack for working with children of all ages (3-12 years old) and abilities, promoting inclusivity and positivity in every session.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are key to building strong relationships with both youth and parents, fostering a supportive and engaging environment during classes and programs.
Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for promoting physical activity and personal growth are essential for success in this role.

A strong background in sports is highly desirable, allowing you to effectively teach and demonstrate various skills to participants.

Responsibilities

Providing leadership and instruction for all ages in our Youth Sports Program at the Y.
Guiding and mentoring participants through various program components, including introductions, warm-ups, skill development, and personal growth activities.
Creating a positive and inclusive environment for all participants to thrive and learn.
Helping kids of all ages develop their sports skills while fostering personal growth and teamwork.
