About The Position

The Youth Sports Coordinator will provide exceptional customer service to associates, customers, and community partners. The Youth Sports Coordinator will manage the SCHEELS Promotion Shop 110 and lead all youth sports related responsibilities. This position will work closely with the Marketing Leader, Social Media Coordinator, Community Relations Coordinator, ASL’s, and community partners.

Responsibilities

Maintaining a specialty shop (SCHEELS Promotion Shop 110) that meets or exceeds Scheels standards, including meeting sales, inventory, and margin goals.
Be knowledgeable to answer questions concerning location, price and use of merchandise
Analyze reports and make decisions about purchasing of inventory, arrangement of merchandise, and sales trends to meet or exceed Scheels standards
Stock shelves, tables, and counters with merchandise while merchandising to Scheels standards.
Set up advertising, signs, and merchandise to promote sales
Communicate professionally with vendors and/or outside sales representatives
Build partnerships with community organizations and nonprofits to give back to the community.
Lead youth sports related in-store events and off-site community activations.
Promote, organize, and execute all custom apparel orders for youth sport teams and community groups.
Lead and find new opportunities for cup sign installations.
Develop a system for and promote SCHEELS fundraising opportunities.
Develop a system and run an organized coupon tracking system.
Presenting in front of large groups promoting our youth sports programs.
Schedule and promote training room events.
Assist the Marketing Leader in the preparation, coordination and execution of events.
Research, order and organize promotional items for youth sports related events.
Help create and manage content for digital marketing channels.
Ability to perform basic math; calculate figures, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and measurements.
Prepare spreadsheets for use in business applications and/or to stay organized.
Ability to follow written, oral and diagram instructions.
Demonstrates strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem solving skills.
Be professional in appearance and attitude; contribute to a positive team atmosphere by treating others with respect and consideration while taking pride in being part of a winning team.
Maintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas
Perform work efficiently and effectively in a fast paced environment
Must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 9a.m. and 9p.mMonday through Friday, Saturday, 9a.m. and 9p.m. and Sunday 10am.and 6p.m. Schedule may include varied hours
