About The Position

Amazing Athletes is seeking an exceptional coach to join its founding team in Colorado Springs. This role is part of building a premier youth enrichment program focused on introducing children aged 1-10 to sports fundamentals while fostering confidence, coordination, teamwork, listening skills, and a love for activity. The primary focus is on preschool-aged children, with growth opportunities in schools, public classes, camps, and after-school enrichment. The ideal candidate is energetic, dependable, and passionate about helping young children learn through play.

Requirements

18 years or older
Reliable transportation
Ability to travel throughout Colorado Springs
Ability to lift and carry sports equipment (approximately 30 lbs.)
Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
Ability to demonstrate movement and participate actively during classes
Successfully pass a background check
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Experience in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
Preschool or Pre-K Teaching experience
Elementary Education experience
Child Development knowledge
Youth Sports Coaching experience
Recreation Programming experience
Pediatric Therapy experience
Summer Camps or Childcare experience
Professional experience working with children ages 1–6
Knowledge of sports

Lead fun, engaging Amazing Athletes classes for young children
Create a positive and encouraging environment where every child feels successful
Teach age-appropriate sports skills through games, imagination, and movement
Build relationships with school staff, parents, and children
Arrive prepared and ready to lead each class with enthusiasm
Represent Amazing Athletes with professionalism and positivity
