This is an on-call position, which means it is a part-time, hourly role. This position will work at least 10 hours per week and no more than 39 hours per week. The starting pay for this position is set at $19.29 per hour and is eligible to enroll in the City and County of Denver’s 457b retirement plan. This position is not eligible for other additional benefits. On‐call positions may have routine or variable work schedules. Although these positions are flexible, they are year-round, and instructors will typically work 20-30 hours per week. Core hours for programming typically occur Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. During the summer months (mid-June to mid-August), core hours for programming shift earlier and are typically 11:00 a.m -5:00 p.m. Typical program hours align with local DPS school schedules. In this position you can expect to work on site at the Tennis Facilities in multiple recreation centers around the City and County of Denver. Denver Parks & Recreation is looking for tennis enthusiasts who are passionate about grassroots tennis to join the team. Instruction is based on group tennis lessons focused on providing the highest quality of service for the residents of the City & County of Denver.
