About The Position

Spectrum is seeking a Youth Specialist for a Youth Residential ILP Program in Belleville, Michigan. The role provides direct support, guidance, and security to youth in a supportive, structured residential environment. The Youth Specialist serves as a role model and source of support for teenage residents. The primary shift is afternoons, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, with required weekend availability. The position is described as full-time, hourly, and non-exempt; paid training and opportunities for required training, workshops, and in-service training are provided.

Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
• Reliable, ongoing transportation.
• Valid, unrestricted Michigan driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Satisfactory results on an MDHS Central Registry Clearance and State Police Record Check.
• Satisfactory physical exam within one year of hire and a negative TB test.
• Availability for the primary afternoon shift, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and weekends.
