About The Position

Northeast PA Soccer Shots is hiring enthusiastic soccer coaches to teach children ages 2-8. Earn $20-25/hour while gaining experience working with kids and turning your soccer passion into a paycheck. We provide a flexible schedule with openings available mornings, afternoons, and Saturday mornings, allowing you to choose 5-15 sessions per week based on your availability and create your own schedule around school or other commitments. As a coach, you will lead engaging 30-45 minute classes for small groups, set up and break down equipment, utilize the Soccer Shots curriculum focusing on motor skills and character development, create a safe and inclusive environment, and communicate with families, teachers, and caregivers. We are looking for candidates with soccer playing experience and a desire to work with young children, requiring a minimum commitment of 4 sessions per week.

Requirements

• Desire to work with children ages 2-8
• Minimum commitment: 4 sessions per week (4 hours)
• Soccer playing experience (high school, club, recreational, or college) is preferred

Responsibilities

• Coach engaging 30-45-minute classes for groups of up to 8-12 children
• Set up and break down equipment at preschools, daycares, and parks
• Use Soccer Shots curriculum focusing on motor skills and character development
• Create a safe, inclusive environment through positive reinforcement
• Communicate with families, teachers, and caregivers
• Track attendance and manage equipment
