About The Position
This position is responsible for officiating scheduled soccer games coordinated by the Athletic Program Supervisor.
Requirements
- 16 years of age
- Have a valid Illinois driver’s license
- Responsible and reliable
- Ability to work multiple games in a row
- First Aid and CPR Certifications
Nice To Haves
- Past referee experience is desired
- Experience playing soccer
Responsibilities
- Arrive early to assist in field set up
- Display enthusiasm for sports
- Enforce the Channahon Park District Rules during assigned games
- Ability to assist in instructing participants
- Ability to see play with sufficient clarity to make accurate decisions
- Ability to communicate with coaches and participants
- Must maintain First Aid and CPR Certifications
