About The Position
This position is responsible for officiating scheduled soccer games coordinated by the Athletic Program Supervisor Representative. The role requires enthusiasm for sports, the ability to enforce Channahon Park District Rules, and to assist in instructing participants. The referee must be able to see play with sufficient clarity to make accurate decisions and communicate effectively with coaches and participants. Maintaining First Aid and CPR certifications is also a requirement.
Requirements
- 16 years of age
- Have a valid Illinois driver’s license
- Experience playing soccer
- Responsible and reliable
- Ability to work multiple games in a row
Nice To Haves
- Past referee experience is desired
Responsibilities
- Arrive early to assist in field set up
