About The Position

This is a seasonal position under the supervision of the Recreation Manager. This individual will be trained to officiate youth soccer games in the City of Holland on Saturday Mornings from Sept. 5 – Oct. 17. Training for this position will take place in August.

Requirements

• Must have experience in athletics.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Physical ability to occasionally lift/push/pull/transport equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time and dressed to officiate.
• Learn the league rules.
• Enforce the rules of the game in an educational way if need be.
• Responsible for following safety rules, policies, regulations, and procedures. Completes accident reports and files them with the Recreation Division. Provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere at all times.
• Maintain a positive working relationship with other employees and the general public. Maintain a professional image.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
