About The Position

Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to serve children ages 2-8. This role involves making a positive impact on children's lives through soccer, fostering character development, and ensuring a fun and safe environment. The position is ideal for recent high school graduates or upcoming seniors who are local and can commit through the end of 2026. No prior experience is required as a comprehensive training program is provided.

Requirements

• Genuine passion for children and sports
• Safety conscious
• Access to reliable transportation
• Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills
• Must be available to work one day out of the weekend.
• Local candidates only
• Will be local through the end of 2026
• A full ten-week commitment is required to take on a lead role.

Responsibilities

• Bring “Soccer Island” alive with your enthusiasm and creativity
• Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down
• Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling
• Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots’ curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers
