About The Position

Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to serve children ages 2-8. This role involves bringing "Soccer Island" alive with enthusiasm and creativity, conducting soccer sessions, encouraging character development through positive reinforcement, utilizing expert-created curriculum, and fostering a safe and inclusive environment. The position requires effective communication with families, caregivers, and teachers. While coaching can be demanding, it is described as one of the most rewarding experiences. The role is located in Oakland, Alameda, San Lorenzo, San Leandro, Castro Valley, and Hayward, with a requirement for local candidates. The position offers a flexible schedule with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Requirements

Genuine passion for children and sports
Safety conscious
Access to reliable transportation
Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills
A full ten-week commitment is required to take on a lead role.
