About The Position

Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to serve children ages 2-8. This role involves bringing "Soccer Island" alive with enthusiasm and creativity, conducting soccer sessions, including field set-up and take-down, and encouraging character development through positive reinforcement and modeling. Coaches will utilize expert-created Soccer Shots’ curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques, fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, and communicating effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers. The position is located in Oakland, Alameda, San Lorenzo, San Leandro, Castro Valley, and Hayward, requiring approximately 15 hours per week. Local candidates are preferred, and no work status or visa sponsorship is available.

Requirements

Genuine passion for children and sports
Safety conscious
Access to reliable transportation
Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills
Must be available to work one day out of the weekend.
A full ten-week commitment is required to take on a lead role.
