Part Time Youth Soccer Coach (Oakland to El Cerrito)
About The Position
Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to lead soccer sessions for children ages 2–8 in the Oakland to El Cerrito area. Coaches bring “Soccer Island” to life with enthusiasm and creativity, using the Soccer Shots curriculum and early-childhood development teaching techniques to build age-appropriate soccer skills, character, confidence, and enjoyment of the game. The role includes setting up and taking down the field, encouraging children through positive reinforcement and role modeling, maintaining a safe and inclusive environment, and communicating with families, caregivers, and teachers. No coaching experience is required. Soccer Shots provides a paid, comprehensive training program. The schedule is generally 15–25 hours per week, Tuesday through Friday, with one weekend day required. Available schedule options are 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. or 2:00–6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, plus one weekend day. Weekend operating hours are 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. A full ten-week commitment is required to take on a lead role. This position is for local candidates; work-status or visa sponsorship is unavailable.
Requirements

- Must pass a background check.
- Must be available to work one day on the weekend.
