About The Position

Soccer Stars is the premier youth sports organization serving Long Island and Eastern Queens, providing engaging soccer instruction for children ages 12 months through 13 years. Through our classes, camps, clinics, and enrichment programs, we help children develop athletic ability, confidence, teamwork, and essential life skills in a positive, age-appropriate environment. We are seeking dependable, enthusiastic, and professional coaches who are passionate about youth development and committed to delivering an exceptional experience for every family we serve.

Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age
Valid driver's license
Reliable personal transportation with willingness to travel throughout Long Island
Ability to successfully complete a background check
Passion for youth development, sports, and coaching

Nice To Haves

Experience coaching youth sports
Experience working with children in educational, recreational, or camp settings
Background in athletics, physical education, kinesiology, exercise science, fitness, dance, gymnastics, martial arts, or related disciplines
Strong communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, age-appropriate soccer instruction
Foster a positive, inclusive, and non-competitive learning environment
Build confidence through encouragement and positive reinforcement
Maintain professionalism by arriving prepared and on time
Adapt instruction to meet the developmental needs of each child
Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and fellow coaches
Participate in ongoing training and implement Soccer Stars' coaching curriculum and standards
