About The Position

Performs supervisory, administrative, and case coordination work supporting youth with identified needs and their families, including youth at risk of or involved in the justice system. Provides oversight of participant case coordination, service planning, staff supervision, community partnerships, and program operations. Leads a coordinated system of assessment, referral, follow-up, advocacy, and supportive services to address participants’ academic, behavioral health, social, family, employment, and developmental needs.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Human Services, Education, Public Administration, or a related field required
• Three (3) years of experience implementing, coordinating, or managing youth programs, services, or initiatives required
• A minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory capacity required
• Valid Florida Driver's License required
• Must pass a criminal background check which includes a polygraph examination
• Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree (in lieu of degree)
• Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree (in lieu of degree)
• Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree (in lieu of degree)
• Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree (in lieu of degree)

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience working with youth involved in or at risk of involvement with the juvenile justice system, including the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, is preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises program staff, advocates and contracted service personnel
• Assigns and monitors caseloads
• Reviews case documentation
• Provides coaching and performance feedback
• Ensures staff follow established policies, procedures, and service standards
• Coordinates with schools, families, nonprofit organizations, behavioral health providers, workforce agencies, juvenile justice partners, and other community resources to ensure participants receive appropriate and timely services
• Monitors participant outcomes, case activity, program performance, grant deliverables, and contractual requirements
• Ensures accurate documentation and data collection
• Identifies service gaps
• Uses performance information to improve case coordination and program effectiveness
