As a Youth Service Worker at Tanager, you will have a purpose-driven role where you can change lives by helping children build self-confidence, discover new dreams, and feel seen, supported, and safe. Tanager, established in 1879, is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children and families in Linn County through various programs. The Youth Service Worker is part of the Inpatient Team, providing client-centered, strengths-based, professional, and compassionate direct care services. This role ensures the safety, supervision, and well-being of youth, and involves planning and leading activities that promote growth, trust, and resilience. Building therapeutic relationships based on respect, empathy, and consistency is a key aspect of the position. Shifts are 10 hours, from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, with part-time positions available. A shift differential of $3.00 per hour is offered for hours worked between 10:00 PM on Friday and 10:00 PM on Sunday.
