The Youth Services Supervisor provides direct supervision, program oversight, and strategic guidance to social work staff delivering critical services across multiple program areas. This role involves planning, assigning, and reviewing the work of employees providing services to the public in youth services. The position may oversee and coordinate programs and activities aimed at supporting the personal and social development of young individuals, community organizations, and advocacy groups. It typically involves managing a team of youth service professionals, creating and implementing programs, and ensuring the overall well-being of the youth participants. These positions are subject to on-call status during non-business hours, may be subject to mandatory overtime, and require availability for travel. Work may involve potentially dangerous situations for clients and workers. Applicants must possess a valid WV driver’s license, reliable transportation, strong communication skills, and knowledge of policy, law, and procedures regarding all programs and services. Overtime hours and frequent travel may be required. Successful completion of a background check is required for employment.
