Youth Science/Medical & Athletic Instructor for Ages 1 to 8
About The Position
Do you have a blast teaching and just enjoy being with little ones? We are seeking a high-energy and kid-loving instructor for the 1- to 8-year-old age range who will lead our children in fun and educational activities, ensuring safety and enrichment for all. Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a teacher, nanny, daycare, coach, youth leader, camp leader, etc.), and genuinely loves children. This position is excellent for someone interested in pursuing a career in early childhood education or teaching. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Consistently available most Monday-Saturday mornings and/or afternoons.
- Ability to work about 15 hours a week.
- Ability to travel up to an hour to get to a class location.
- Lots of energy and a personality that kids love.
- Physically active, healthy, punctual, and organized.
- Ability to work with kids ranging from 12 months to 12 years old independently.
- Demonstrates a history of integrity.
- Always having a positive attitude.
- Willingness to be silly and sing short songs.
- Lots of patience.
Nice To Haves
- Some college education.
- Prior experience working with children (as a teacher, nanny, daycare, coach, youth leader, camp leader, etc.).
- Interest in pursuing a career in early childhood education or teaching.
