About The Position

The Residential Program Manager oversees all aspects of cottage operations for scheduled shifts and serves as a role model for staff and residents. This role involves supervising and managing cottage staff, overseeing treatment and service delivery including admissions, departures, treatment plans, and lethality assessments. The manager ensures compliance with local, grant, contract, or licensure requirements for youth treatment and conducts regular inter-disciplinary team management and treatment planning meetings. They review data, report trends and action plans to the Residential Director or appropriate personnel, and maintain up-to-date information on OIG and COA guidelines. The position also ensures ongoing staff and program development training, acts as a liaison to the campus and larger community, and participates in Safe Crisis Management as needed, maintaining constant on-call status for crisis management. The manager provides ongoing training and supervision in the clinical and program development of all staff, oversees budget administration, and provides input to the Program Director. They provide staff with direction and priorities, coordinate appropriate scheduling and staffing for the cottage, and continually monitor and review the performance of assigned personnel. Additionally, the manager handles referral calls from the admissions director or program operations manager, creates and maintains a clean and family-style environment, and plans and maintains care and treatment in coordination with Clinical staff. This position directly supervises 6-15 Youth Care Workers, carrying out supervisory responsibilities such as interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

  • Two years related experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • SCM Certification.
  • First Aid/CPR.
