About The Position

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Afterschool Counselor to help lead exciting, educational, and engaging activities for our awesome group of kiddos. From homework help to outdoor games, arts & crafts to high-fives — you’ll be part of the team that makes afternoons the best part of their day.

Requirements

You’re 16 or older with a genuine passion for working with children.
You’re energetic, responsible, and love to be on the move.
You have strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
You’re calm under pressure and cool with a little chaos (aka fun!).
Ability to pass state-required background checks.

Prior childcare or youth programming experience? Even better!

Responsibilities

Team up with the Afterschool Lead Counselor to guide and supervise a group of energetic, curious, and creative kids.
Support daily activities like: Homework time, Outdoor play, Arts & crafts, Sports and games, Reading and more!
Keep things fun and safe, following state childcare licensing standards.
Be a friendly, encouraging role model — the kind of adult kids look up to.
Help with group transitions and make sure everything runs smoothly.
Communicate positively with both kids and parents.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming space.
Be a team player — pitch in wherever needed to keep the club running smoothly.
Always bring a positive attitude and a team-first mindset.
Deliver five-star service with a smile, eye contact, and kindness.
Keep your workspace — and our entire club — clean and welcoming.
Participate in service days, special events, and other fun club activities.
