About The Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic Afterschool Counselor to help lead exciting, educational, and engaging activities for a group of children. This role involves supporting daily activities such as homework help, outdoor play, arts & crafts, sports, games, and reading. The counselor will ensure activities are fun and safe, adhering to state childcare licensing standards, and serve as a positive role model for the children. Responsibilities include assisting with group transitions, communicating positively with children and parents, maintaining a clean and organized space, and being a team player. The position requires a positive attitude, a team-first mindset, and delivering excellent service with a smile. Requirements

16 years or older with a genuine passion for working with children.
Energetic, responsible, and love to be on the move.
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
Calm under pressure and cool with a little chaos.
Ability to pass state-required background checks.

Nice To Haves

Prior childcare or youth programming experience.
